Create a System Restore Point in Windows 10


System Restore is the process of keeping a copy of software, drivers and various updates. If your system is recently updated with a new version and you find some flaws in it then you can switch back to previous state by performing System Restore.

To ensure System Restore you have to set a restore point in your computer. Here you will know about how to create a restore point.

1. Go to the Control Panel
2. Click on System and Security.


3. Now go to Allow Remote Access under System.


4. A new window will pop-up, click on System Protection.


5. Now click Create button.


6. Again a new window will open and you have to enter a name for your restore. You can type your name too. Take MYRESTORE as an example.



7. Click on Create button.

8. Now a process will start, wait for a while.


9. A notification bar will appear with a message "The restore point was created successfully"



10. Here you are done. Now you can restore your computer anytime.


Windows 10 has a lot of new features, but many of the old tried and true system tools still exist. System Restore is one that is still here, and is important to have if something goes away with your system and you need to get it working again.
